Scott Naismith was born in May 1978 in South Lanarkshire. Scott studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, where he graduated in 2000 with a BDes in illustration and print making.

Scott then went on to become a full time artist, capturing images of the west coast of Scotland in new and exciting ways.

Since 2003 he has also been a part time lecturer at the Creative Arts Department of Reid Kerr College, Paisley.

Scott now runs his own fine art publishing company and distributes his work to galleries around UK and Ireland.

Scotts work can be found in collections across the UK, Europe, USA, Australia and Asia.
